The call came in from our tenant - we had a leaking water main at our building in Montclair (of course that sounded horrible on the phone). EBMUD wouldn't touch it, even though they went to the scene, because it's on the "building side" of the water meter. I am writing to give you some feedback on a residential furnace replacement recently completed at our home. From Ryan, who originally came out on a service call, to Shawn , who provided the scope of work and estimate, to Joel, who lived at our house for 2 weeks (daytime only), we were tremendously satisfied with the thoughtful service provided to us. In addition to furnace replacement, I wanted to address the issue of heat distribution that had bothered me for years. Although Kruse was the highest estimate of all, it was clear that Shawn "got it." His plan for the new and improved duct system sounded the most likely to solve our problems. So we went with Kruse and Joel came to our house. What an outstanding young man! Joel was so reliable about coming when he said he would, calling if he was going to be late, working hard from the beginning to the end of the day, calm about unexpected interruptions, and very sensitive to the fact that he was working in our home. Of course, I'm not qualified to evaluate his technical work, but in every other respect of customer service, he was fantastic. Shawn and Joel both were very respectful of my input and made me feel like part of the "problem solving" team. I originally contacted L.J.
